  • Open strictly from 8am to 5pm Monay to Sunday. No bookings after 5pm.
  • No fishing after 17h00 - this is for cottage guests only.
  • Staff tea breaks are from 10h00-10h30 and 15h00-15h30
  • Fishing lessons by appointment only
  • 3 self catering cottages available
  • Animal and bird watching includes, fish eagle, springbok, ostrich, ducks, Canadian geese, horses
  • Mountain biking – permits need to be booked 2 days in advance
  • Picnics and braai's -bring your own baskets.
  • Horse and pony rides
  • Foefie slides 
  • Swimming pool is for cottage guests only.
  • Day visitors can swim in the river
  • No quad biking permitted
  • All visitors and guests use the facilities and amenities at their own and sole risk.

Activities in the surrounding areas include our fabulous Franschhoek restaurants which are 10 minutes away. The villages of Franschhoek, Paarl and Stellenbosch have numerous interesting art galleries, gift, cheese, chocolate, and coffee shops. The famous Franschhoek, Paarl and Stellenbosch wine routes are all in the near vicinity.
