Location:
La Ferme located between Paarl and Franschhoek on the R301 in the Western Cape.  We are surrounded by mountains and 4 fly fishing dams.

Mountain Biking and Hiking:  Available in the Limietberg Nature Reserve – our neighbor. Bring your own bikes please. Permits need to be booked in advance through Cape Nature. Phone Charmaine Jacobs on 021 866 8007.

Self Catering Accommodation:  3 log cabins are available. They are decorated in contemporary décor which is fun and fresh.  All accommodation is fully equipped and has an undercover deck with braai/barbecue facilities.

Camping:  Camping for schools, corporate or individual. Bring your own tents. .

Fishing:  Fly fishing for trout (brown & rainbow), bass, carp and witvis can be enjoyed in the 4 unique dams.

Animal and Bird Watching:  Animal and bird watching includes, fish eagle, springbok, fellow deer, horses, ostrich, ducks and Canadian geese.

Picnics:  Bring your own or you can have a braai next to the river or dams.

Horse Riding:  Horse riding and pony rides available.

Other activities in Franschhoek:   In include our fabulous Franschhoek restaurants which are 10 minutes away. The villages of Franschhoek, Paarl and Stellenbosch have numerous interesting art galleries, gift, cheese, chocolate, and coffee shops. The famous Franschhoek, Paarl and Stellenbosch wine routes are all in the near vicinity.  The Motor Museum on L’Omarins Wine Estate, Glass blowing on Seidelberg Wine farm.
