Your Event at La Ferme
La Ferme is a beautiful 12.5 hectares farm, with 4 dams, lots of space and amazing views to make your Big Day a huge success!
Only 10 minutes outside of Franschhoek, but in the middle of nature – with breath taking views of the surrounding mountains.
The Venue:
Our venue is right next to the Wemmershoek River, with a large lawn in front of the venue for the ceremony or for the guests to socialize outside. It has a modern steel-and glass structure and a bar.
From the lawn, guests have amazing views of the river and the surrounding mountains, which looks stunning photos of your function!
- The venue has space for 80 -100 guests.
- Parking is right outside, in front of the venue.
- Additional parking is by our dams.
- The venue has free wifi.
- A solar installation will make sure that the lights will stay on during the function.
The Wedding Package:
If you want to be sure that your wedding will be professionally organised, leave it to the experts. Our package covers almost everything, from planning, catering and decoration to chairs, tables and accommodation for the Honeymoon Couple and their close family and friends.

- Accommodation for max 8 guests in 2 stunning chalets (Honeymoon Chalet with bottle of bubbly and rose petals)
- Full planning & coordination from your 1st day of booking until your big day
- Décor & styling for ceremony and reception (excl. flowers)
- Fairy lights in the roof
- Kitchen use
- Crockery, cutlery, and elegant glasses
- Catering – pre drinks and canapés, 3 course plated menu or buffet mains, mini dessert buffet
- Bar facilities with the option to have own bar at a fee (please enquire)

Pricing for Packages until 31 December 2025
- Package Summer (1 October – 31 March): R89 000
- Package Winter (1 April – 30 September): R79 000
- Price is for 60 guests – additional guests: R900/guest
- Maximum capacity: 90 guests
- A refundable breakage deposit of R5 000 is to be paid 7 days before the event.

The Self-Catering Option
We are very flexible with the arrangements – you decide how much you would like to organize yourself and where you would like us to step in. You are also welcome to choose the Self-Catering Option, bring your own caterer and your own wedding planner or event manager. Then you will get “an empty” shell from us and are free to plan yourself.
Price for the Self-Catering Option
- Self-Catering Summer: R35 000
- Self-Catering Winter: R25 000
- This option gives you the venue as is.

- Use of function hall (max 90 pax),
- Lawn at function hall,
- Kitchen,

- Security until midnight,
- Cleaning,

The Venue has a fully equipped kitchen, which can be used by the caterers (additional costs apply).
The venue is available from 9h30 am on the day of the function and until midnight (guests leaving at 23h30) of the same day.
Extra hours after midnight will be charged separately.
