4 dams for fishing trout, bass and carp are available both for our accommodation guests as well as for day visitors.
Our Venue can accommodate your function for up to 120 guests.
Fishing
Fishing is an incredible popular sport – and outdoor enthusiasts of all ages enjoy the fun of being outside by our dams and feel their stress disappear. We have 4 fishing dams that are stocked regularly with trout, bass and carp for fly fishing and spinning.
The Wemmershoek river runs through our farm and is a perfect place for cooling off on a hot summers day, sundowners or a spot of fishing.
Our accommodation guests get the fishing day pass for free!
We can also offer Fly Fishing lessons on request (pre booking is essential).

La Ferme has direct access to the Haweqwa Nature Reserve, which offers endless space for enjoying the stunning beauty of the Western Cape.
The Wemmershoek river crosses our farm and its crystal clear water invites you to take a bath or just take your blanket and relax.
Accommodation
Our 4 beautiful self-catering accommodations are great for both a cold winters stay with inside fireplaces or a hot summers stay with aircon, braai and a pool and the Wemmershoek Rand to cool off. Our accommodation guests have the fishing day pass included.
Kids of all ages are welcome – our large jungle gym and plenty of space will keep them busy.
